New quilts....

This is the first appliquéd quilt I have ever made. I was a little nervous about it, having never done it, but I liked how it turned out. I did it by hand with 1000's of teeny, tiny stitches. This pattern is Serendipity.

I made pillow cases out of extra fabric. It's amazing in pictures how the colors aren't quite how they really are. You can't even tell that the pillow cases are out of the same fabric.

I love how this pattern has the illusion of circles when it is all triangles and squares. To get all the points to match is really an interesting thing...takes a lot more time and effort than I ever imagined it would.

The Tennessee Waltz. One of these days I would really like to make one of these for Stan and me.
