This picture is taken from the front door. This is the 'family/tv' side of the large room. We still have things to put on the wall by the clock. The doorway you see goes back into the laundry room.
This is the 'formal/whatever' side of the room. This is also taken from the front door. We need to hang up individual child's family group pictures around the family group of Stan and I.
This is the formal side, viewed by the kitchen doorway. Notice our 'Ukrainian' corner; with all of our fun Ukrainian treasures.

It has been so fun to get it all done. With our work schedules, then me being down for surgery, it has taken literally months to do. But we are so pleased with how it all turned out. Stan has done a really good job. There are a few more details that need to be done, but for the most part, it is done. It is so nice when the family comes. The kids can play on one side and watch TV and the rest of us can be on the other side talking. We will eventually get a leather rocker/recliner for this side, kind of where the Christmas tree is right now. It will be exciting to have all the family that can be here, here, on the 20th. Again, we thank Richard for the beautiful floor that forced us to do all the rest of it. Sometimes you just need an extra push to get things done.

It looks great!
My family will all be home on the 20th for our Christmas Party. Maybe we can give the kids some fresh air and met on the road for a short visit.
What a beautiful, warm and cozy room. Good job....
