Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!

On Christmas Day we got quite a snow storm. Some of it came in sideways, drifting a lot, but I think that we got about a foot of new snow. Stan spent a couple of hours moving snow around. Richard came and got stuck as soon as he drove in, the bumper was pushing snow. Stan pushed snow around until 'Boris' got stuck as well; Boris being the tractor. We went to Logan for the after Christmas sales, when we got back our neighbor, Rich Stewart, had rescued Boris and another neighbor had borrowed him to move some of his snow. Rich came and rescued our mailbox. The snow pushed up is over 5 ft. in some areas. Rich and Sue are the 'perfect' neighbors....in every way!!!!

This is one of the drifts.

We have had a lot of 'killer' ice icicles. They look like they are going after our home, going in for the kill.

This is the 'grandkid' forest. You can see all the drifts and how heavy the snow is on the trees.

Rachel, Endrit, and Sara make some 'larger than life' snow men. Do you see the momma holding the baby? The man is Chinese, with long mustache and the pony tail down the back.

Rachel and Endrit made two balls this size and thought they were going to put one on top of the other.....rrright!

We had to watch England. She wanted to be right in the middle of everything. If the ball had rolled on her, it would not have been a pretty sight.

It took all three of them pushing it uphill to get it where it needed to be...at the front of the house.

Sara was freezing to death. Stan had been wishing and wishing for this kind of day, and he wasn't disappointed. We wouldn't mind being snowed in a few more times! We have plenty of food storage!

Looks like you always have fun with your kids. I miss ours not being around more often. Trent showed up yesterday though and we drove back with Nicky and the boys for a few days, so we have had kids for a while. Helps keep us active (I think) and certainly much tireder (is that a word?). Anyway Happy New Year!! Love ya.
