The tractor bucket was one of the 'ladders', and work platform, conveniently stored screws, drills, hammers, etc. It was a 'jarring' experience for Stan when Deidra changed positions of the work platform.
Phillip knew that we would be working on the deck, so he came in work clothes! We were so happy, what a help he and Rachel were! We did omit the pictures with the obscene gestures......you know Phillip.
Richard has always had an interesting way of squatting and getting the work done. It makes my knees hurt just watching him.
It's almost finished....for today!
You see Rachel here. She took most of the pictures, but her and Deidra carried all the boards, did the cutting and measuring, fetch and carry stuff. She was a great help, besides it being fun having her here. Endrit was here as well, but he had a boat load of school stuff that had to be done. We should have gotten a picture of him working on the computer.
This is how it looked when we were finished and cleaned up.
There is still the metal roofing, which won't be in until next week, and a little cement work, the railings, etc. But we have to do things as we can, there are only so many hours in the day, and only so many days that Stan is home and able to do the work.
Thanks to Phillip, Rachel, and Richard we were able to make it this far on Saturday, we could have never done it without their help....thanks!

The project is coming along nicely. Glad to know some of the kids were around to help out.
It's looking really good!
The porch will be fun and it looks like you had a bunch of help to get it done. Enjoy!
